The “Deep Dive into Deep learning ” was conducted by Inderpreet Singh and Rashandeep Singh from
the department of Computer Science and Engineering 4th year. The event was kick started by
Rashandeep Singh who gave a brief introduction about the topic to be discussed, why it is used
and projects related to it. Basics of Deep learning were also mentioned during the event.
The “Recruitment 2021” was conducted by ACM Student Chapter. As part of the interview process,
technical and non-technical questions were asked about computer science. The event majorly
focused on Recruitment of best talent for the field of Computer Science. Various queries of
students were resolved by interview taking students. A total of 61 students participated in the
event.

women in the field of computing. The CCET ACM - Women Chapter inauguration was conducted by
Kriti Aggarwal from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering 3rd year.

language is designed, and how a compiler translates that code to an assembly language and then
how an assembler translate it to executable machine code.

fundamentals of python on IDE followed by Mukesh Sahani who taught about Object Oriented Python
and Module Formation, Hands-On Future Directions and Project Development.

The Recruitments drive for ACM 2021 was held virtually from March
27, 2021 till April 3, 2021. In this session, the appointed Core-Committee for ACM 2021,
interviewed as many as 94 participants from different branch and years. The questions focused on
the overall development, experience, projects, Technical Knowledge in C, C++, and basics of Data
Structure and Algorithms.

community and how it has made a huge impact in the present technical scenario, along with the
practical utility of the platform, GitHub. The event intended to introduce the students to the
perfect solution for creating commits and submitting Pull Requests.
In this session, the attendees learnt the algorithms of deep learning right from scratch -
beginning with the algorithm of linear regression to complex neural networks. Also, they coded
through the one and two layered neural network in Python Programming Language.
By the end of the Session, participants were able to build their own Deep Learning Model and
implement it to solve real world problems.
A two hour workshop was conducted by Anshul Gupta to guide towards Alexa an intelligent personal
assistant developed by Amazon and Voice User Interface which allows the user to interact with a
system through voice or speech commands. The need, future scope and applications of Voice User
Interface were also discussed.
Attackers have an over-growing list of vulnerabilities to exploit in order to maliciously gain
access to particular web applications. New vulnerabilities are being discovered all the time by
computer security researchers, by attackers and even by users. Each time changes are made at any
level of the web-application infrastructure; there is the potential for new vulnerabilities to
be created. In this session participants were guided towards how the attacks have been performed
in real world scenarios.
The event was conducted by Raghav Arora, the founder of cocampus. He began the workshop by
emphasizing the need of building products over projects. He also discussed what the interviewer
seeks forth in a candidate. He introduced us about portfolios and how to make them appealing by
keeping it simple yet creative and avoiding information overload.
Students were introduced to various coding competitions including Google Summer of Code and
mozilla winter of security. The motive was to create awareness among the students on open source
culture and projects. The session was conducted by Ashlin K Siby and Kamalpreet Singh. A
detailed explanation of the GSoC programme was given to the students.
Students were introduced to Web Crawling, about its functioning as how it fetches and stores
links from a website and were then taught as to how to create a web crawler.The motive was to
create awareness among the student about the topic and also make them familiar with the wide
range of utility of this in data analysis.

buzzer round.
Students were introduced to about the Open-Source community and how it has made a huge impact in
the present technical scenario, along with the practical utility of platform, Github.The
students were introduced about the basics of Github i.e. how to create or fork a repository on
Github. Then they were told how to create commits and submit pull requests on Github while
working on a particular repository.
Students were introduced to UI/UX designing in a crash-course fashion, learning as much as
possible, along with the practical utility of various tools in the software. The motive was to
create awareness among the student about how to start as a designer and also they were
introduced to concepts in the design of User Interfaces and User Experiences, concepts which
affect every app, be it mobile, desktop or web.
